2015年9月5日，我来到了中国学习。从经验上讲，我是中国文化和教育的骄傲受益者。我有机会获得利中两国政府双边奖学金，攻修应用经济学硕士学位。在中国地质大学，我有幸修了一门名为"中国介绍"的课程。本课程让我了解中国的地理、历史、哲学、宗教，中国的政治制度、文学艺术、汉语和汉字、书画、经济、科技、教育、体育、医疗保健以及文化遗产。

除了我的大学经历，我与许多中国人包括他们的家庭互动过，在中国，亲密的家庭关系更为普遍和积极，家庭成员互相之间并不考虑他们的成功，而且尊重每个成员的选择和安排。尊重父母和与孩子的亲密关系是我很佩服的常态。

我观察到的中国年轻人，他们对生活和学习保持积极健康的态度。他们对个人发展特别关心，因此，他们认真对待自己的学术工作，他们对课堂、考试和其他课程相关工作的认真态度是独一无二的。另一个令人钦佩的方面是中国年轻人的勇气，就是他们从小找工作的勇气。

On September 5th, 2015, I came to China to pursue my studies. I can proudly state that I am a beneficiary of the Chinese culture and education. I've had the opportunity to obtain a bilateral scholarship from the governments of Liberia and China to pursue a master's degree in Applied Economics. During my time at the China University of Geosciences, I was fortunate enough to have taken the following course: "Introduction to China. " This course provided an in-depth understanding of the layers and development of China. Notable areas of study were geography, history, philosophy and religion, political system, literature and art, language and Chinese characters, calligraphy and painting, economy, science and technology, education, sports, medical care, and cultural heritage.

Outside of my university experience, I have interacted with many Chinese people, including their families. What I have gathered from these interactions is incredible, educative, and admirable. 

In China, I have observed that close family relations are very common and positive. Family members do not consider their personal success and respect each other's choices. Respect for parents and close relationships with children is the norm, just like in my country. Another admirable aspect that I have observed is the courage of young Chinese people—specifically, their courage to find a job from a young age. 

在中国期间，我非常感谢中国共产党和中国人民，感谢他们建立了利比里亚与中国之间的文化和教育交流媒介。这种关系促使在利比里亚建立了一个完整的学术竞赛，并建立了两个教育团体："利比里亚中国学生会"和"利比里亚中国培训学者协会，LACTS"，这两个团体都得到利比里亚政府的承认。利比里亚社会各阶层都见证了中国训练有素的学者与美国学者和其他学者之间的交流，这是一个有助于利比里亚发展的重要力量，进一步加强了我们的学术部门，拥有更多合格和称职的专业讲师，他们目前正在帮助改善我们的教育体系。许多受过培训的中国学者正以雇员的身份通过公务员制度为政府提供服务，直接为利比里亚的发展作出贡献。利比里亚私营部门从中受益匪浅。很多专业和训练有素的中国学者与私有公司合作，包括采矿部门和农业部门。

During my time in China, I must say I am very grateful to the Communist Party of China and the Chinese people for establishing a medium for cultural and educational exchanges between Liberia and China. This relationship led to the legalization of two educational groups' code names after China and called "Liberia Student Union in China, LSUIC" and "Liberia Association of Chinese Trained Scholars, LACTS," both of which are recognized by the government of Liberia. All sectors of Liberian society have witnessed the exchanges between Chinese trained scholars and American trained/other scholars, which is a critical force conducive to the development of Liberia. This relationship has further strengthened our academic sector with more qualified and competent professional lecturers. They are currently helping to improve our education system. Many trained Chinese scholars are serving in the government as employees through the civil service and directly contributing to the development of Liberia. The private sector in Liberia has also benefited dramatically. Many professionals and trained Chinese scholars work with private companies, including the mining and agricultural sectors.

利比里亚和利比里亚人民正在收获中国教育项目在社会各界的影响：它给个人带来了更多的独立性，为经济发展创造了平台。个别家庭也从中受益。中国已成为利比里亚人接受优质教育的头号目的地。

知识就是力量，中国当局为不发达国家和个人提供了获得这种知识的机会，他们特别关心开发个人的潜力。对全世界发展中国家的许多年轻人来说，接受基本教育仍然是一个梦想，在许多地方，即使是最基本的教育机会也受到严重限制。这是一个可悲的事实，因为教育是社会变革、经济发展和繁荣的最佳工具之一。

Liberia and the Liberian people are reaping the impact of China's education project in all sectors of society: it has brought more independence to individuals and created a platform for economic development. Individual families also benefit. China has become the number one destination for Liberians to receive a high-quality education.

Knowledge is power. The Chinese authorities have provided opportunities for underdeveloped countries and individuals to acquire such knowledge. They are particularly concerned about developing a person's potential. For many young people in developing countries around the world, receiving primary education is still a dream. In many places, even the most basic educational opportunities are minimal. This reality is sad because education is one of the best tools for social change, economic development, and prosperity. 

让我们看看一些与教育有关的机会：

就业－受过教育的应聘者，无论他们是在大学还是在行业，都比非熟练工人有更多的就业选择。你在教育领域的学分和成就帮助你走上了一份好工作的正确轨道。

责任－完成学业可以教会你如何管理自己和承担责任。学会处理和承担责任是发现你的能力的核心。

逻辑－教育教你如何使用逻辑推理，当你使用你的推理技能，你就能够质疑和分析你被告知的一切。

经验－在整个大学教育过程中，你将联系广泛的同龄人，你会发现新的观点，学会欣赏多样性，更深入地了解世界和重要的时事。良好的教育可以让你成为一个社会的积极成员，并参与到使社区变得伟大所需的变革和发展中。

综上所述，对我来说中国教育体系可能走向世界历史，并深深扎根于世界许多国家。当代青年在中国上学，这是值得付出的代价，中国已成为全世界更多青年接受优质教育的目的地。

Let's look at some education-related opportunities:

Employment- Educated candidates, whether in university or in the workforce, have more employment options than unskilled workers. Your credits and achievements in education help you get on the right track for a good job.

Responsibility- Completing school can teach you how to manage yourself and take responsibility. Learning to handle and take responsibility is the core of discovering your abilities.

Logic- Education teaches you how to use logical reasoning. When you use your reasoning skills, you can question and analyze everything you are told.

Experience- Throughout your college education, you will connect with a wide range of peers, discover new ideas, learn to appreciate diversity, and gain a deeper understanding of the world and critical current events. A good education can make you an active member of society and participate in the change and development needed to make the community great.

In conclusion, in my opinion, the Chinese educational system will go down in world history and become deeply rooted in many countries worldwide. It is a price worth paying for millennials to go to school in China. China has become a destination for more youth all over the world to receive a high-quality education.

I have observed that Chinese young people maintain a positive and healthy attitude towards life and learning. They are particularly concerned about personal development. Therefore, they take their academic work seriously. Their serious attitude towards classroom, examination and other curriculum-related work is unique. 

大多数国家青年面临的主要问题是缺乏机会。如果得到适当的开发和培育，青年的潜力将得到无穷释放。现在是每个政府或"一带一路"倡议的伙伴都大力投资赋予年轻人权力的时候了。当青年获得发展时，整个人口状态都是充满活力的。必须记住，一个经济体要想大幅度增长，劳动力必须大于依赖它的人。对大多数国家来说，情况正好相反，因此依赖劳动力的国家比劳动力本身更依赖劳动力。如果劳动力负担过重，无法为依赖劳动力的人生产足够的劳动力。有了适当的投资和机会，青年将在经济发展中发挥关键作用。

愿我们继续认识到青年发展在全世界的重要性。 

The main problem facing youth in most countries is the lack of opportunities. If properly developed and nurtured, the potential of youth will be infinite. It is time for every government or "one belt, one road" partners to invest in the power of young people. When youth develop, the whole population benefits. It must be remembered that for an economy to grow significantly, the labor force must be greater than the people who depend on it. For most countries, the opposite is true. Labor-dependent countries are more dependent on labor than labor itself. The result is that to produce enough labor for those who depend on it becomes overwhelming. With appropriate investment and opportunities, youth can play a key role in economic development.

May we continue to realize the significance of youth development worldwide.
